The lower pollution levels make Auckland sky very bright when compared to India. Since, Auckland is on an island surrounded by water, one can differentiate between the colour of the sky and its reflection on water. As a child, one of our first sketches were of a hill in the middle of water. While colouring our drawing we ensured that the colours of water and the sky can be differentiated. Pollution however prevented us to witness the difference in real life. Thankfully, Auckland summer provided me the opportunity even while I stayed within a city. Some interesting shapes that the Auckland clouds took the other day are for you to enjoy too.

Pair of glasses?

Pair of glasses?

Do you think the shapes resemble anything else?

  2. Very imaginative post. I think the clouds cooperated very well…

    Just dropping by… 🙂

  3. First one looked like a sparrow to me.
